Abstract

Two superconducting closed coils are fabricated and the joint resistance of the coils by a field decay technique at 77 K is evaluated. (Bi, Pb)(sub 2)Sr2Ca2Cu3O(sub x)/Ag tape is wound in the form of double-pancake coils, and the ends of the tape are joined to each other by a resistive-joint method.
