Abstract: The reactivity of lithiated graphite (HOPG) with organic electrolytes is followed by calorimetric measurements. The role of three different solvents such as ethylene carbonate, dimethyl carbonate and diethyl carbonate and their binary and ternary mixtures are investigated.
