Abstract
- An intuition analysis measure, the Cognitive Style Index, is applied to samples of manager and non-manager subjects in the United Kingdom. Findings show that female non-managers are typically more analytical (i.e. less intuitive) than female managers and male non-managers. No difference in intuitive orientation was found between male and female managers. Implications for gendered perspectives in organizational research are discussed.
