Ultrafast vibrational population dynamics of water and related systems: a theoretical perspective

A theoretical perspective of the different aspects of ultrafast vibrational energy transfer in water and other related systems, which are concerned with the association of the change of population of OH vibrational states is presented. The hydrogen bond plays a very important role in chemical solution processes like proton-transfer reactions and in biochemical processes and systems.
