Abstract
- The ultrafast photoisomerization of a push-pull substituted azobenzene is studied by means of femtosecond fluorescence and absorption spectroscopy. The combination of femtosecond fluorescence and absorption techniques allowed obtaining a detailed picture of the excited-state dynamics of 4-nitro-4'-(dimethylomino)-azobenzene.
