State-specific spectral doublets in the FTIR spectrum of gaseous tropolone

The resulting twenty-six vibration-contortion state-specific splittings estimated for tropolone in its ground electronic state is examined. The results show strong parallels between the vibrational interactions of the tautomerization of tropolone.
