Abstract

A study is conducted to examine whether cytosolic glutathione S-transferases (GSTs), which catalyze glutathione conjugation, can reduce cellular activities of 15-d-PGJ2 or augment MRP-mediated attenuation of 15-d-PGJ2 activities. The study showed that the isozymes of GST have no effect on 15-d-PGJ2 cytotoxicity with or without MRP1.
