Abstract
- A detailed study of the Raman scattering of single-crystal PbTiO3 made by Burns and Scott is described. The origins of the anomalous behavior of the E (1 TO) phonon in its subpeak structure in Ba-doped single crystals of PbTiO3 are discussed.
