Abstract

The neutral compound ((super t)BuNH)3PNSiMe3 is mono-, di-, or trilithiated by reactions with a stoichiometric amount of (super n)BuLi results in the formation of imido analogues of [H2PO4](super -), [HPO4](super 2-), and [PO4](super 3-), respectively. The X-ray structure and EPR spectra of THF solutions of the stable neutral radical {[Me3SiN)P(u3-N(super t)Bu3)][mu3-Li(THF)]3 (O-(super t)Bu)} are discussed.
