Abstract

The interaction between the nuclear factor and T-22AG was mediated by the possible structure that could be adopted by the G-rich element 22AG. The study suggested that in addition to the molecular strategies so far proposed to inhibit the expression of the Ki-ras gene in tumor cells, a strategy based on the use of aptamer molecules capable to specifically interact with the nuclear factor binding to the pur/pyr motif appeared to be very attractive.
