Abstract

The focus group is a data gathering method that is gaining popularity in libraries as a means of gathering the opinions and experiences of library users in order to better understand their attitudes and behavior. Further, there are many decisions to be made in implementing successful focus group research, for assembling groups of willing participants and forming effective questions to gathering the data and analyzing for valid results.
