'It was genocide' - Leon Kieres

Abstract: Professor Leon Kieres, Polish president of the Institute of National Remembrance (INR), who firmly believes that the 'Katyn crime' of 150,000 Polish army officers being executed in 1940 still remains unresolved, is initiating an inquiry through the INR. In his view this criminal act was one of genocide involving around 2000 guilty people, and he needed the cooperation of his Russian colleagues to uncover the truth.
