Abstract: The association between the denture wearing, edentulism and the use of dental services, oral function limitations, and medical and cognitive status among the older adults are examined. Denture wearing and edentulism can be related to poor quality of life and risk for undiagnosed oral disease and a marker for other medical comorbidities.
