Abstract
- A novel chemical method has been developed for synthesizing Au nanoparticles using sucrose as the raw material based on gold seeding formation in the solid phase and seeding growth in aqueous solution. The results indicate that the synthesized gold nanoparticles can be used to self-assemble monolayers and to fabricate biochemical sensors based on surface plasmon resonance effect.
