Surrey Council boosts lowest rates in three-year harmonisation deal

Employees at Surrey County Council accepted a new agreement that boosts the salaries of the lowest-paid, extend pay scales for key staff and contains measures which largely complete the harmonisation of pay and grading for manual and white collar staff. The council hopes that these changes would assist in the recruitment and retention of qualified social work staff.
