Abstract

'Bulbs' is a GardnerEs catchall term, loosely covering corms, tubers, tuberous roots, rhizomes and true bulbs which means plants that share the characteristics of being self-contained, storing food and even buds underground. Winter aconite, Anemone blanda, and Crocus specious are some of the bulbs listed, which grow and spread and sow themselves anew.
