Abstract

Soft drink industry statistics for 1991 are presented. Overall growth figures average 1.7%, not too discouraging, considering economic conditions. Coca-Cola Co retains its position as industry leader, with 41.3% of the market, but Pepsi-Cola Co lost market share from 33.1% in 1990 to 32.9% in 1991.
