Abstract

Microsoft announced the beta release of Speech Server, a solution to the problem of lowering automated-phone-system costs and writing multimodal in July, 2003. This marked MicrosoftEs entry into the speech recognition market's current spot, the corporate call centers equipped with speech interfaces to web-accessible, and back end applications.
