Abstract: Information about polymeric complexes is given, which are formed when the anilinosquarate anion is reacted with M(II) ions [M = Mn, Co,Cu, Zn] in methanol. Results suggest that complexation does not occur between these transition metals and the related anisolesquarate ligand.
