Elusive Deuteronomist, Jeremiah, and Proto-Deuteronomy

The literary relation between the books of the Old Testament namely, Jeremiah and Deuteronomy, are questioned by a number of critics. An account of one of the critics, who believed that the prophecy of Jeremiah was shaped by Proto-Deuteronomy and that he called himself a prophet like Moses, is presented.
