Monomers and oligomers of the M(sub)2 muscarinic cholinergic receptor purified from Sf9 cells

Research shows that cholinergic M(sub)2 muscarinic receptors may coexist as active monomers and mostly inactive oligomers in the extracts of Sf9 cells. However, upon binding of an antagonist, the purified receptor fraction displays some active oligomers.
