Learn to play, learn to say

Elmtree infant school in Chesham has established its own language department to help pupils with speech impairment problems. Four children at the school have been identified as having language impairment, while a further two have been identified as being likely to benefit from being in a small group. The children spend half an hour in the language department, then rejoin their class where they spend the rest of the school day.
