Sarcopenia, calf circumference, and physical function of elderly women: a cross-sectional study

Abstract: Results show that calf circumference is not an effective predictor of sarcopenia, or loss of musculoskeletal mass, in elderly women. However, it does offer valuable information on physical function and muscle-related disability for this population.
