Abstract
- Based upon the merger and acquisition frenzy of 1995 to 2000, about 70 to 80 percent of M&A failed. Additionally, about $1 trillion in investors funds were annihilated. This is especially true for dot-com companies. As a result, M&A must be managed carefully to avoid loosing investors' funds. To that end, some suggestions are offered here.
