Abstract

This article examines the relationship between bulimic symptoms with sociotropy, a cognitive-personality factor in which social dependency, need for approval, and fear of rejection are symptoms. The authors, assessing two groups of women, conclude sociotropy is significantly related to bulimic symptoms.
