Plant-dependent genotypic and phenotypic diversity of antagonistic rhizobacteria isolated from different Verticillium host plants

Research demonstrates that bacteial populations antagonistic toward Verticillium dahliae Kleb are enriched in the rhizosphere of Verticillium host plants. Data indicate an enormous phenotypic and genotypic diversity in the antagonistic bacterial population at the subspecies level.
