Abstract

Results indicate that rodeo athletics cause repetitive trauma to the upper extremity and use of effective external bracing is necessary. Data show 82 abnormalities involving both left and right extremities and 24 hand/wrist fractures involving scaphoid, styloid, phalanx, and metacarpals. Joint diseases and bone degeneration are also observed.
