Abstract
- The German sociologist Max Weber has influenced modern anthropology, especially with his developments in 'theory of practice' and 'interpretive sociology.' Weber's thesis about the relationship between developing bourgeois capitalism and religion have been the basis for much anthropological research on religion and political economy.
