Simplifying oligosaccharide synthesis: efficient synthesis of lactosamine and siaylated lactosamine oligosaccharide donors

Research has been conducted on D-glucosamine. The authors describe the convertion of this compound into peracetylated building blocks via the use of synthetic strategy based on chemoenzymatic oligosaccharide synthesis.
