Information security and privacy is supported, at EU level, by extensive documentation, which seeks to find concrete solutions to maximize the value of information without sacrificing fundamental human rights. The European Data Protection Authority (EDPS) supports the right to privacy and the right to the protection of personal data respecting human dignity.
