Abstract

The incorporation of the Mário Cesariny collection, stimulated Cupertino de Miranda Foundation in finding a way of disclosure, which allows the dissemination of information related to his work, particularly by individuals who, in a direct or indirect way, were important to the Mário Cesariny’s legacy. After examining the collection of information, we selected the personalities that are the representative core, but not exhaustive of his universe. The works and documents treated with different framework in physical environment get together in the digital environment making it possible to imagine the connections between them. This way, it was possible to gather in the same digital space, all the strands of Cupertino de Miranda Foundation: museum, library and personal archives. The way the contents were prearranged enables the chronological structure of the documents and the identification of professional and personal relationships of Mário Cesariny. The technical implementation of the portal uses an Open Source solution for managing digital content. Being a web-based solution, we can manage and administer all the content in a web browser, operating system independently. This independence also facilitates portability between systems and the WWW.
