Abstract
- This report collects and combines both bibliometric indicators (production and impact) and socio-economic, in order to provide a complete enough description and schematic of the state and evolution of the science for the period from 1990 to 2004. The indicators presented in this study have been compiled from recognized sources (as reference) internationally, among which is "Web of Science", developed by Thomson Scientific. This edition includes an analysis of indicators on existing trends and patterns relating to gender and scientific communication
