Abstract
- Social change is omnipresent, rapid and influential, as it entails people's responsive adaptation. Both social change and psychosocial responses to it have been constantly attracting attention, research, deliberation, theorizing and policy reengineering, thus furthering social change. Social change can cover economic, political, cultural and communal aspects. It can deal with issues such as the economic or financial crisis, marketization, revolution, social movement, globalization, nation building, migration, urbanization, demographic transition, secularization, acculturation, enculturation, modernization, posmodernization, military or business war and so on. Psychosocial responses can cover morale, demoralization, distress, anger, cooperation, alliance, trust, aggression, suicide, caring, help seeking, social integration, social cohesion, social identity, rebellion and crime.
