Abstract

This book discusses the advances in materials science research. Chapter 1 focuses on titanium dioxide (TiO2) and its largely untapped potential for applications in hydrogen generation processes. Chapter 2 discusses microwave-induced plasmas (MIPs) and their uses across many diverse applications. Chapter 3 highlights the transformative potential of the Trash to Treasure approach in bioengineering. Chapter 4 explores zinc oxide nanoparticles (ZnO NPs), their green synthesis utilizing pomegranate constituents, and their wide-ranging applications. Chapter 5 mainly discusses the remarkably physical properties of cocoa butter. Chapter 6 will mainly discuss the significance of Eigen value and Eigen vectors for predicting dispersion relationship of the periodic structure. Finally, Chapter 7 presents a novel compound that is a product of interaction of polyethylhydridesiloxane and alkyltriethoxysilane hydrolysate.
