Abstract
- The government institutions of Spain and Brazil signed a first agreement on cinematographic co-production in 1963. This agreement remained unchanged until 2008, when ICAA and ANCINE ratified a new bilateral agreement. Furthermore, both countries belong to CACI, promoter of some international agreements and conventions to help stimulate the creation of an Iberoamerican audio-visual space. The main example of their activities is programa IBERMEDIA. The results of these bilateral or multilateral agreements are a number of Spanish-Brazilian productions. This paper aims to compile these co-productions in order to prove the efficacy of the public policies that help the cinematographic co-production.
