Abstract
- This paper is a narrative inquiry into my academic experience as an international student in three different countries: the United Kingdom, the United States of America, and Canada. It is an analysis of how formal pedagogical spaces sustain epistemic coloniality. This study also serves as an example of practicing epistemic disobedience, which begins with a recognition of problematic representations and relations within celebrated diversity and inclusion narratives of academic institutions.
