Abstract

In today’s culture – intellectual and political – the twins of diversity and pluralism carry significant weight. These shallow attempts to allow space for “freedom of thought,” however, are unsustainable, grounded on an intrinsically flawed ontology. Newman looks to reframe the concept of diversity and offer a different approach to ontology rooted in the convertibility of being and love sustained by the Triune God – specifically, “Church."
