Investigation on Zoning Management of Saline Soil in Cotton Fields in Alar Reclamation Area, Xinjiang

Aiming at assessing the problems of the high land salinity, high spatial variability of soil nutrients, sloppy management, and low efficiency in the Xinjiang region, research on the precise delineation method of field management zones is being conducted to facilitate differentiated fertilizer management for farmers and increase the level of saline soil improvement. Taking the plots in the experimental area as the research object, traditional statistics, principal component analysis, and fuzzy c-mean classification were applied to divide the management zoning in the study area, and the suitability and effectiveness of the management zoning were evaluated.
