Abstract

The history and contributions of the father of Cuban Orthopedics, Dr. Julio Martinez Paez, and highlights its main personal characteristics and professional ethical values ​​and patriotic and his revolutionary action in the July 26 Movement, the Sierra Maestra mountains and the triumph of the Revolution in his work as Prime Minister of Health and Social Welfare.
