Abstract

The paper presents principle scheme of wireless torque sensor on rotary shafts, for example truck cardan shaft, to measure dynamic torque of transmission in range of 0…10 kNm, also describes designing and manufacturing method. Recommendations on selecting, arranging and gluing strain-gauge in manufacturing, and on calculating signal amplifier are given. A simulation of sensor modules was carried out in software package Proteus to confirm working efficiency of assembled schema of electronic components. Experiment was conducted to confirm working efficiency and to collect performance specifications of the sensor.
