Fractura del ahorcado

Con el nombre de "fractura del ahorcado" se conocen 2 tipos de lesiones del axis de igual apariencia radiológica, de las cuales la más frecuente es la espondilolistesis traumática del axis. Estas lesiones son afecciones relativamente infrecuentes, que crean problemas de manejo a ortopédicos y neurocirujanos por su comportamiento biomecánico particular.
