Effect of closed-loop management in health education for patients undergoing surgery for ureteral calculus (输尿管结石患者术后健康教育闭环管理的效果观察)

Objective To investigate the effect of closed-loop management in health education for patients undergoing surgery for ureteral calculus. Methods Totally 240 patients undergoing surgery for ureteral calculus were randomly divided into control group and observation group, with 120 cases in each group. All patients received routine care and health education after surgery, and those in the observation group were given closed-loop management in health education. The incidence of recurrent calculus was compared between two groups, and patient knowledge awareness and compliance behavior were measured. Results The incidence of recurrent calculus in the observation group was lower than that in the control group (6. 67% vs. 21. 67%, P＜0. 05). Better patient knowledge awareness and compliance behavior were found in the observation group. Conclusion The closed-loop management in health education is effective to improve the disease awareness and treatment compliance among patients undergoing surgery for ureteral calculus.
