Aim - justification of the method of monitoring the noise hazard of the environment. Objects and methods. The article establishes and substantiates the ratio between the intensity (pressure) of the sounds of different frequencies and the loudness of the perceived tones as the inverse law of Weber-Ovchinnikov The ways of studying the relief of the sound field and monitoring of the acoustic landscape of the environment are outlined.
