Abstract: Klebsiella pneumoniae is a pathogen of increasing public health concern and antimicrobial resistance is becoming more prevalent. Here, the authors describe a K. pneumoniae genotyping tool, Kleborate, that can be used to identify lineages and detect antimicrobial resistance and virulence loci.
