Abstract
- Inspired by the low energy consumption, high parallel and fault‐tolerance of visual perception system in human brain, optoelectronic devices integrated with the sensing, memory, and signal processing functionalities become the candidate to emulate functions of photonic synapse. Herein, red‐light‐stimulated nonvolatile perovskite‐based photomemory through optimized thickness of poly(3‐hexylthiophene‐2,5‐diyl)(P3HT) is demonstrated. The device emulates important synaptic functions which can be manipulated by light intensity, light pulse interval, and number of presynaptic spikes. The lower photon energy triggered photonic device paves the way for developing low energy consumption of neuromorphic computing in the future.
