Abstract: The paper shows the main stages of introduction and organization of liver transplantation in the Republic of Belarus, the procedure of examination of patients on the waiting list for liver transplantation, and the experience of the first 37 orthotopic liver transplantations made in the Republic of Belarus in April 3, 2008, to February 1, 2010.
