Turbolysis: A low-cost, small footprint alternative to commercial bead beaters for cell lysis

turboLysis is a novel mechanical cell lysis device that utilizes small beads to efficiently lyse tough cells like Mycobacterium, Saccharomyces, and Arabidopsis.
