- Abstract Objective Vitamin D deficiency and variations in the vitamin D binding protein (VDBP) gene may play a role in the development of Polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS). This study aims to investigate the association of the rs4588 polymorphism with PCOS in Iranian women, as well as its association with infertility and recurrent pregnancy loss (RPL) in these patients.
