Abstract

Curcumin-based fluorescent probes are presented that are able to selectively bind to aldehyde dehydrogenase 1A3 (ALDH1A3), an enzyme overexpressed in glioma stem cells and specifically identify glioblastoma cells in vitro and in vivo.
