The Excellence Model and Enhancement Path of Competence of Ideological and Political Teachers in Colleges and Universities in the Context of Informatization

Abstract

At present, the competence of Ideological and Political Teachers in colleges and universities does not pay attention to ideology, the training mechanism is not sound, the teaching method is unscientific, and the teaching effectiveness is not strong and other problems. Based on the iceberg model of competency, this paper analyzes the materials of 496 “Influential Pacesetters” and “Influential Figures”, and extracts the relevant information to establish a model of excellence in the competency of college Ideological and Political Teachers. To accurately evaluate the excellence of college Ideological and Political Teachers’ competence, the IFAHP method was used to solve the weights of the assessment indicators, and a model for evaluating the excellence of competence was constructed by the binary semantic method. Taking University Z as an example, the evaluation questionnaire was prepared, and the relevant data of the competence excellence quality assessment indexes were obtained to make a comprehensive evaluation of the excellence quality of Ideological and Political Teachers’ competence. The results show that the excellent quality of college Ideological and Political Teachers’ competence will be affected by political belief and teaching innovation, whose weight values are 0.1439 and 0.1396, respectively. The comprehensive evaluation carried out on the example of Politics Course A teachers of University Z obtains their binary semantic evaluation information (s4, −0.136) and the evaluation grade is excellent. Competence excellence quality enhancement of college Ideological and Political Teachers under the background of information technology need to optimize their knowledge of political theory and strengthen their Ideological and Political Teachers skills to effectively enhance students’ interest in learning political theory.
